Why this exists

Every storage lot within thirty miles is full.

That's how Garage Club started. Four facilities, four waiting lists, one boat with nowhere to go for the winter. Renting means you're always one rate increase away from the same problem. Ownership ends it permanently.

Renting a unit

  • ×Rent rises every year, forever
  • ×Waiting lists and lease renewals
  • ×No equity when you walk away
  • ×Shared access, limited hours
  • ×Nothing gets customized

Owning at Garage Club

  • Fixed cost, financeable, deeded to you
  • Yours the day you close
  • An appreciating asset you can sell
  • 24/7 private gated access
  • Build it out however you want

Secure Storage

Garage Club is a private luxury community of Garage Condominiums where individuals secure their valuable assets via their ownership of a storage unit.

Investment

With a Garage Club luxury storage solution, you get not only a high-end, unique storage unit but a valuable and attractive investment for the future.

Gardominium

Unit owners become members of the ‘Gardominium’ (GOA-Garage Owner’s Association), allowing participation in management decisions.

Run your numbers

What you already pay, versus what you'd own.

Move the sliders to your situation. Rent buys you a receipt; a payment here buys you a deed.

Over 20 years, renting costs you $81,600 and leaves you with nothing. The same span here retires the loan and leaves a deeded 2,400 SF building you can sell, lease out, or hand to your kids.

Estimate only, for illustration. Principal and interest at the rate shown; excludes GOA dues, property taxes, insurance and closing costs. Rent comparison assumes your current rate never rises, which it will. Not a loan offer — financing is arranged through local lenders.

Who built this

Darren welcomes you, your family and all your ‘toys’ to join us here at Garage Club!

Darren Dean, principal of Garage Club LLC

Garage Club LLC is a luxury garage condominium development company with its principal being Darren Dean. Darren has two boys, Dillon and Ryker. Dillon, 17, has a passion for fishing and plans to be a professional bass fisherman. Ryker, 14, enjoys baseball and moto-cross riding.

Darren has been an entrepreneur for 21 years, with a passion for large garages and big-boy toys. In fact, while living in Michigan, he owned a 60 x 40 garage, where — if you took sleeping out of the equation — Darren spent more time than he did in the house. Whether cleaning, shining, maintaining, hanging with sons, building, designing — it all happened in the garage!

Darren’s family relocated to Seneca, SC in 2020 and invested in a home with no “man cave”. In November 2020, he inquired with large storage facilities (4 locally) seeking a place to store his boat for the winter. All facilities were booked. Darren was put on a waiting list, four times. That was the “ah ha” moment needed to inspire the creation of Garage Club LLC.

Let’s give folks an opportunity to own a luxury garage, create a place where passionate car, boat, RV, UTV, and motorcycle owners can set up shop in a very unique environment. Where they can work, clean, and play with their big-boy toys, while having all the comforts of home and the company of like-minded owners.

Darren welcomes you, your family and all your ‘toys’ to join us here at Garage Club!

How it works

Three steps from inquiry to keys.

Step one

Reserve your garage

A refundable deposit locks your unit and today's price while you review the documents.

Step two

Spec the build-out

Choose your floor, lighting, mezzanine, HVAC and interior finish before construction on your unit begins.

Step three

Close and move in

Financing through local lenders, deed in your name, gate code the same day.

The other reason people buy

A garage that pays part of its own way.

An owner's bay set up with a boat and workspace

Owners may lease their unit out, so the same building that stores your boat can carry a tenant in the off-season. Every owner joins the Garage Owners' Association and votes on how the community is run — dues, upkeep, rules. You are not renting from a management company. You are one.
